Dunlop 606 Rear 120/90-18
Stock Front Sprocket  15
Stock Rear Sprocket 44
Replacement Front Sprocket 14
Replacement Rear Sprocket  47
15/44 (Stock ratio) 2.93:1 Stock ratio
15/47 3.13:1 FYI stock chain also works with 13,14,15/47.
14/44 3.14:1 yeah i had the same problem i switched to a 14 tooth front(14/44) and it made it just barely good enough. The 14/44 combo is dirt cheap and it only takes 2 minutes to swap the front sprocket but this setup is really only ideal for true dualsport 50/50 riding.
14/47 3.36:1 Stock 400E
13/47 3.62:1 13/47 gearing works with the stock chain.any thing will be better than deathwings in the dirt.
Divide the rear by the front to compare ratio
Changing the front to give 13/44=3.38
Stock 400E 14/47=3.36
Close to offroad by just changing front, probably good if you wanted to ride street too as you can change back easily.
I run mostly off-road so i swapped out the rear to a 47 and that gives me the choice to swap the front to a 13,14 or 15 depending on the trails planned for that weekend.
FYI stock chain also works with 13,14,15/47.
